Illustration Friday - Obsession and Perennial


Obsession

Perennial
 I didn't quite get last weeks illustration finished in time so here it is with this weeks. A Perennial Hibiscus flower is worn in the hair of my retro style tattoo lady. 'Obsession' captures unrequited love. She'll continue picking the petals from daisies until she receives the answer she wants!

    I do especially like the upper drawing (Obsession). It's lines and colors remind me of Alphonse Mucha's work.

    Hi Lisa, thanks for stopping by my blog (and yes, it is colored pencil). Great job on perennial and obsession. I especially like the was her skirt and the flower petals anchor the piece. Nice colors as well!

    These are terrific! I love the swirl of the petals and the lines in "Obsession." And your "Perennial" tattooed beauty could actually be a really cool tattoo! It has such nice lines and clear colors. As a side comment....my daughter has a swallow tattoo just like the girl in your illustration!
